Asako Tanaka expresses the optical illusions that occur in her daily life by capturing it by photography, silkscreen prints, and three-dimensional works. These mediums depicts what she perceives in a sensitive way, but with bold imagination. Her works show the objectivity and ambiguity of our own sight.
Asako Tanaka exhibits her works not just in art galleries, but also in large public spaces. Her other skills range in various areas including editing and publishing art books.
